Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores Pause Retail Operations to Focus on Greatest Need
LOS ANGELES, CA - Although retail operations are suspended for now - including routine home pick-ups - dedicated staff remain onsite to accept in-kind donations of clothing and household items at many Salvation Army locations across the Western US. These goods help The Salvation Army continue their critical residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation programming.
To aid Salvation Army programs in this area, donation sites are also accepting essentials such as nonperishable foods, baby formula, diapers, wipes, and hygiene items that will be distributed to people seeking assistance at our shelters, senior centers, transitional housing programs, community centers and more.

Where possible, donations will be accepted on a drive-thru basis at Salvation Army stores and receipts will be available for donors.
